Shipping policy
Shipping Policy
At Taper, we process and ship orders as quickly as possible so your gear arrives ready for your next session.
Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
UAE Delivery
We ship to all emirates across the UAE. Standard delivery takes 2–5 business days from the date of dispatch. Free shipping is available on all UAE orders over 300 AED. For orders below 300 AED, a flat shipping fee applies at checkout.
GCC & International Shipping
We currently ship to GCC countries including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman. International delivery typically takes 5–10 business days depending on your location and local customs processing. Shipping fees for international orders are calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight.
Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this to monitor your delivery in real time. If you have not received your tracking information within 3 business days of placing your order, please contact us at weartaper.ae@gmail.com.
Customs & Duties (International Orders)
Taper ships internationally on a Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. This means:
- Duties, import taxes, VAT, and any customs clearance fees are the customer's responsibility and are not included in your order total or shipping fee.
- Charges are set by your country's customs authority based on the declared value of your order. We cannot estimate them in advance and we cannot pre-pay them on your behalf.
- Your courier (our Quiqup delivery partner — DHL, Aramex, or equivalent for your region) will contact you before final delivery to collect these charges. Please make sure the phone number and email on your order are reachable — customs holds cause delays, and unreachable customers are the top cause of failed international delivery.
Delivery Attempts, Refusals & Return-to-Origin
- Couriers make up to two delivery attempts. After that, packages are held at the local courier facility for a limited window (typically 3–5 business days, varies by country) before being returned to us.
- If you refuse the package, decline to pay duties, are unreachable during customs contact, or the package is returned to us for any reason within your control (wrong or incomplete address, unpaid duties, no response), the package is treated as a Return-to-Origin.
-
Return-to-Origin orders are refunded for the item cost only. The following are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund:
- Original outbound international shipping fee
- Return shipping fee charged back to us by the courier
- Any duties, storage, or handling fees the courier bills us for the failed delivery
- If the deducted fees exceed the item cost, we may invoice the balance before releasing any future orders.
Prohibited & Restricted Items
- You are responsible for confirming that the items you order are permitted for import in your country. If your local customs authority seizes, destroys, or refuses entry to your order, no refund is available — the items are lost in transit through no fault of Taper or our courier partners.
- If you are unsure, check your country's customs website before ordering, or contact us at weartaper.ae@gmail.com and we will share the product details you need for a customs pre-check.
